I build software the way some people keep a notebook — mostly for myself, occasionally useful to others. Most of what's here started as a problem I wanted off my own plate: a budget that wouldn't track itself, a planner that didn't fit how my brain actually works, a homepage that didn't exist yet.
I lean toward plain, durable tools over heavy frameworks. If a static page or a small script will do the job, that's usually what ships — self-hosted, self-maintained, built one piece at a time.
